BETA SPAIN
BETA Spain (BETA España) is a national non-profit youth organization whose main objective is to bring the European Union and its institutions closer to young people.
We strive to vividly represent the way in which EU law comes into force while fostering mutual understanding and cooperation through dialogue.
OUR WORK
BETA España is organising simulations known as Model European Union (MEU). Since 2012, MEU Granada has brought the European institutions to young people who come to the city of the Alhambra for a week.
In 2020 BETA España began working on its second project. MEU Spain celebrated its first edition in 2021 in Madrid with the objective of replicating the success of MEU Granada on a large conference in the Spanish capital.
Moreover, in 2021 we have launched BETA-DEBATES, a monthly debating space where young people from BETA Europe and former participants of MEUs discuss the most recent news around the European continent.

BETA España is a member of BETA Europe, a federation founded in 2018 with the objective of coordinating more than ten European branches.
