BETA SPAIN
BETA Spain (BETA España) is a national non-profit youth organization whose main objective is to bring the European Union and its institutions closer to young people.
We strive to vividly represent the way in which EU law comes into force while fostering mutual understanding and cooperation through dialogue.
OUR WORK
BETA España está organizando simulaciones conocidas como Modelos de la Unión Europea (MEU). Desde 2012, MEU Granada ha acercado las instituciones europeas a jóvenes que se desplazan a la ciudad de la Alhambra durante una semana.
In 2020 BETA España began working on its second project. MEU Spain celebrated its first edition in 2021 in Madrid with the objective of replicating the success of MEU Granada on a large conference in the Spanish capital. Since then, it has been celebrated in Santiago de Compostela (2022), Málaga (2023) and Valencia (2024).
Además, en 2021 hemos lanzado BETA-DEBATES, un espacio de debate donde jóvenes de BETA Europa y exparticipantes de MEUs discuten acerca de la actualidad del continente europeo.
